How much to pay a mover before loading day
The question people type before they book a mover in Pakistan is simple: how much money should leave my account before the boxes are on the truck? A small amount to hold the date is normal. Paying the whole bill to a number you have never checked is how families lose both the money and the furniture.

What to ask before you send any money
Ask for a written note that splits the money into two parts: what is due to keep the date, and what is due when the goods are in the new rooms. If the answer is “send the full amount now or we cannot block the truck,” slow down. A real office can tell you the balance and when it is paid.
The note should say what the money covers: packing, labour, the truck, and placement in the rooms. If the lift is not booked, or the truck must stop down the street, that changes the number. Read the piece on why a quote changes on loading day before you treat a WhatsApp figure as final.
How to check you are paying the real company

The offices you can name are in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Bahawalpur. A new number that is not on those pages is a reason to call the published number and ask if the request is real.
Pay in a way you can show later: a bank transfer with the company name, or cash against a written receipt that says the date, the amount, and what it is for. A screenshot of a personal JazzCash account, with no receipt, is a weak record if something goes wrong.
If the amount changes after the goods are loaded
Ask for the extra charge in writing, and for the reason, before you pay it. Stairs, a longer carry, or boxes you did not mention can be real. A new figure with no reason, and a refusal to say where the truck is, is a different problem. Keep the quote, the chats, and the payment proof. If someone is holding your goods and will not say where they are, that is a matter for the police as well as for the company.
Do not sign a paper that says the full amount was agreed if you are still arguing about it. Write the number you were first given, and the new number, on the same page.
