What to do if your goods arrive damaged
If something is damaged, speak while the truck is still at the door. A week later nobody can honestly say whether the scratch came from the stairs or from the new house. The useful record is a photo and a line on the delivery paper, written the same day.
This is a practical note, not a promise of a fixed payment. The office needs to see what happened. A clear note from delivery day is what makes that conversation possible.
At pickup
Walk with the crew. Point at the old scratch on the wardrobe and the chip on the table. Take a photo on your phone in daylight. You do not need a special camera. You need the date and the piece in the same picture. If you hide old damage and then claim it later, the talk goes nowhere.
At delivery
Look at the big pieces before you sign: beds, fridge, glass, and the TV. Open one or two cartons if a corner is crushed. If a line on the paper says the goods were received in good order, and you have not looked, do not sign that line as though you had.
Write the damage in plain words. “Right door of the wardrobe is split” is useful. “Not happy” is not. Photograph the piece in the room. If the carton is still there, include it in the photo. Then call the office the same day, not after the weekend.
What to send
Call house shifting on +92 312 6939758. Email info@marsoospackers.com with the photos, the pickup city, the delivery city, and the line you wrote on the paper. If the rain was part of the story, say that too. A soaked carton and a broken leg are different problems, and both need the same-day note.
If the piece was already damaged and you recorded it at pickup, say that in the email. The survey photos and the delivery photos belong in one thread. Keep your own copy. Do not rely on a chat message that can disappear.
What not to do
Do not repair the piece before the office has seen the photo. A repaired leg and a story are harder to follow. Do not throw the broken carton away if the damage is inside it. And do not sign a blank paper because the crew is in a hurry. Five minutes with the pen is the whole job.
