Why the moving quote changes on loading day
A moving quote changes on loading day when the truck arrives and the house does not match the phone description. The usual surprises are a fourth floor with no lift, a sofa that will not turn on the landing, a store room nobody mentioned, and a street where the truck cannot stop.
Marsoos treats a number given before a survey as a range. The figure that should hold is the one written after someone has seen the access, or after you have sent photos that show the stairs, the lift, the gate, and the large pieces.

What to send before you accept a price
Send the pickup and delivery addresses, the floor, and whether a lift can be booked. Add photos of the staircase and of anything that is heavy or awkward: a fridge, a marble top, a safe, a piano, or a glass dining table. Say if the building requires a loading window.
List the rooms that are actually moving. A closed store room is where the extra volume hides. If part of the home is going into storage, or abroad, say that too. Those are separate jobs and they change both the truck and the paperwork.
What should be written on the quote
Ask for the included labour, the carton supply, and what happens if the lift is refused on the day. Ask whether the price is for placement in the rooms or only to the ground floor. A quote that says “house shifting” and nothing else is how the argument starts at the door.
Distance belongs on the same page. A move inside Lahore is not a move from Lahore to Karachi, and a move from a district headquarters is not a move from the nearest big city. Division hubs on this site exist so the district is named before the truck is dispatched.
What you can do on the day
Walk the crew through anything already damaged and photograph it before it is wrapped. Keep passports, cash, jewellery, and medicines out of the truck. If the access is worse than the survey, expect the price to be discussed before loading, not after the goods are on board.
Call house shifting on +92 312 6939758. Email info@marsoospackers.com with the photos attached. A clear survey is the whole fix. It is not a discount code.
One more thing to settle
If you are comparing two companies, compare the survey, not the smallest number. Ask each one what happens when the lift is out of service and whether cartons are included. A lower number that excludes stairs, wrapping, and placement is not a lower price. Marsoos would rather revise the figure before the truck leaves the yard than argue over it in a stairwell with the neighbours watching.
